Susan Renae Vance Copley
Of Kistler, WV
Susan Renae Vance Copley, 43, of Kistler, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 9, 2020, leaving from Trinity Healthcare of Logan, after a long illness.
She was born on October 25, 1976, at Logan, the daughter of Martha Dempsey Osborne of Davin and the late Jackie Lee Vance.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jonathan Copley; her grandparents, Essie and Millard Vance and Bertha and Coonie Dempsey; one brother, Curtis Vance; and two nephews, Russell “Bubby” Vance and Jacob Sims.
Susan was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She loved to color, work crossword puzzles, and shop on Amazon.
Those left to cherish her memory are one son, Michael (Katie) Vance and their children, Brayleigh, Jocelynn, Violet, Macie, and Carson Vance, all of Oceana; her parents, Martha and Rev. Benny Osborne of Davin; her siblings, Mary (Henry) Osborne of Davin, Janice Rose of Cyclone, Essie Davis of Davin, Russell Vance of Accoville, Rev. Nathan (Melissa) Vance of Campus, Jackie (Tina) Vance of Accoville, Kelly (Rev. Randy) Lusk of Lorado, Lisa Vance of Logan, Allen (Kim) Osborne of VA, and Connie (Michael) Mills and Freman Osborne, all of Cyclone; special friend of the family, Lorie Belcher of Logan; special friend and care taker, Rodney Mullins of Kistler; and many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Private funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 12, 2020, Graceway Baptist Church at Lorado with Rev. Chet Clay and Rev. Benny Osborne officiating. Burial will follow at Toler Cemetery at Toney Fork.
Visitation will be held from 12 to 2 p.m. Monday at the Graceway Baptist Church at Lorado.
Pall bearers will be family and friends.
