Everett “Hunky” Harold Walker
Of Robinette, WV
Everett “Hunky” Harold Walker, 69, of Robinette, departed this life on Sunday, March 29, 2020, at CAMC-Memorial Division at Charleston, after a long heart related illness.
He was born on February 19, 1951, at Man, the son of the late Ralph Ray and Nevada (Grimmett) Walker.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Tommy Lee Walker and Ralph Walker; one sister, Til Ogle; one son-in-law, Joe Buchanon; and his ex-wife, Brenda Walker.
Hunky was retired security guard formerly employed with Allied Barton Security and United Central Security. He enjoyed playing poker and was a big cut-up. Hunky loved playing with his children and great-grandchildren.
Those left to cherish his memory are his girlfriend, Jean Graham of Robinette; one daughter, Sheila Ann Buchanon of Lorado; one son, Avery Walker of Lorado; three grandchildren, Cortina Stickler and her daughter, Kathryn, both of FL, Brandy (James) Dean and their children, Cora, Carson, Mackenzie, and Zoey, all of Accoville; and Joey Buchanon and his fiancé, Lindsey Eldridge, of Proctorville, OH; three bonus daughters, Regina Lilly and her special friend, Matthew Gibson, and her children, Corbin and Cecil, all of Man, Rhonda (Frank) Allen and family of Winfield, Betty Jo (DJ) May and family of Danville, two bonus sons; Randy (Sherry) Buckner and family and Rex (Terri) Buckner and family both of Danville; one sister, Shirley Toler of Bruno; and one brother, James “P.K.” (Catherine “Cat”) Walker of Bruno; many nieces and nephews, and his extended family, Anna Mae Toler of Cooks Addition, Ruby, Emily, Loraine, Betty Sue and Glen, Helen “Tootsie” and Nathan, Sonny and Emily, Jerry and Sherry, Dean and Tennessee, and Pete; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
In honor of Hunky’s wishes his remains have been cremated.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, graveside services will be held at a later time when all of the family can be together.
