Dolly Ratlff
Of Accoville, WV
Dolly Jo Ratliff, 64, of Accoville, departed this life on Thursday, March 26, 2020, at Logan Regional Medical Center at Logan, after a sudden illness.
She was born on July 5, 1955, at Man, the daughter of the late Joseph and Beulah Mae (Tackett) Jewell.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Mike Ratliff; three sisters, Pearl Chapman, Jean Collins and Sue Tackett; and two brothers, Bo Jewell and John Jewell.
Dolly was a manager formerly employed with McDonalds in Logan. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Dolly enjoyed spending time with her family and beach vacations.
Those left to cherish her memory are five children, Mike (Lisa) Ratliff of Chester, VA, Julia (Ray) Young and Kaye Jewell Wilkins, both of Colonial Heights, VA, and Kim Ratliff and Carolyn (Kennith) Adkins, both of Accoville; 11 grandchildren, Justus, Ryan, Brent, Brian, Ayden, Jackie, Kellie, Ben, Bobbie Jo, Kenny Jo, and Lucy; 11 great-grandchildren; one brother, David (Sue) Tackett of Port Orange, FL; and one sister, Amanda Jewell; and many nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends, along with the Politakis family which was very dear to her heart.
In honor of Dolly’s wishes her remains have been cremated.
Due to the COVID-19 virus pandemic the family has decided to have a memorial service at a later date.
