Obituary of Richard Aaron Egnor, Sr.

Richard “Putt/Putt” Egnor, Sr. Of Man, WV Richard Aaron “Putt/Putt” Egnor, Sr., 68, of Man, departed this life on Tuesday, January 28, 2019, at Logan Regional Medical Center, after a sudden aneurysm. He was born on June 6, 1951, at Man, the son of the late Egbert Delbert and Gladys (Browning) Egnor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Richard “Richie” Egnor II; brother, Billy Egnor; and sister, Emmajean Bias. Richard was a 1969 graduate of Man High School. His passion in this life was playing music, flying airplanes, and bee keeping. Richard loved spending time with his family especially his grandson, Lane Michael Hansford. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 20 years, Pam Egnor; five daughters, Rhonda Nelson of Cleveland, OH, Kimberly Barr of Downers Grove, IL, Shannon (Joe) Flowers and Bridgett (Randy) Hansford, both of Hurricane, and Tonya (Jon) Cosner of Statesville, NC; his mother-in-law, Pebble Vance of Claypool; three brothers, Roger (Sue) Egnor of Winfield, Ronnie (Sally) Egnor of South Point, OH, and Bobby (Kathy) Egnor of Huntington; two sisters, JoAnn Keefer of Nitro and Linda Belcher of Huntington; eight grandsons, Michael, Matthew, Jacob, Dylan, Hunter, Caleb, Lane, and Grier Michael due to arrive in February; five grand-daughters, Kayleigh, Faith, Aironna, Whitney, and Ashley; and four great-grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Sunday, February 2, 2020, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man where a memorial service will begin at 7:30 p.m. with Rev. Terry Stone officiating. Honoring Richard’s request his remains have been cremated. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man.
