Obituary of Thelma G. Cline

Thelma G. Cline Of Elk Creek, WV Thelma G. Cline, 91, of Elk Creek, formerly of Sophia, went to live in her Heavenly home on January 12, 2020, leaving from her earthly home, after a long illness. Thelma was a born again Christian and was a member of Stotesbury Community Church in Raleigh County. She was born August 2, 1928, in Logan County, the daughter of the late Dorothy Mangus Porter and the late Millard Sparks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Duard Ardel Cline; two daughters, Janet Fay Cline and Lena and Frank Accord; two brothers, Jimmy Browning and Grady Sparks; one sister, Mary Stevens; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Truby Cline, Macie Cline, Icy Cline, Vernice and Shellah Lester, Dennie and Vicie Cline, Rev. Densil and Trubie Cline, Ollie Browning, Lorraine Cline, Johnny Cline, and Leonard Cline. Those left to cherish her memory are three daughters, Hattie Jean (Donald) Morgan of Elk Creek, Lana Sue (Ronnie) Rowe of Chesapeake, OH, and Brenda Kay (Mickey) Hoosier of Buffalo Creek; one brother-in-law, Joe Cline; one sister-in-law, Myrtle Browning; five grandchildren, Elaina Bryant of Thomasville, NC, Michael (Crystal) Grimmett of Elkins, Wendi Yoder of Morgantown, Sherry (Michael) Abbott of Cyclone, Michael Joe Hoosier of Cyclone; one step-granddaughter with whom Mrs. Cline resided, Tammy Morgan of Elk Creek; 16 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Cline was blessed with loving caregivers, Wilma Harrison, Lara Garbosky, Susie Hall, and Dignity Hospice. Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man and one hour prior to services at the funeral home also. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Thursday, January 16, 2020, with Rev. Perry Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Gardens at Matheny. Pallbearers will be Michael Joe Hoosier, Rocky Morgan, Ethan Abbott, Mike Abbott, Donald Morgan, Jr., and Roland Morgan. Honorary pallbearers will be Samuel Hoosier, Michael Joseph Hoosier III, and Ronnie Abbott.
