Patricia Kay Belcher
Of Bolt, WV
Patricia Kay "Patty" Belcher, 60, of Bolt, went to her Heavenly Home on Wednesday, December 31, 2014, leaving from Bowers Hospice House at Beckley after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on January 28, 1954, at Amherstdale, the daughter of Inis Martha Goodwin Poston of Amherstdale and the late Arlie Eugene Poston.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Jean Spears; and two brothers, William Allen Poston and Arlie Eugene Poston, Jr.
Patty was a 1971 graduate of Man High School. An office manager, she worked with pride and dedication for Massie Reclamation at Ghent for 24 years. Patty was of the Baptist faith and attended the Becco United Baptist Church when possible. She enjoyed gardening flowers and vegetables and was a world class baker and cook. Devoted to her family, Patty delighted in her grandchildren and was the world's best daughter-in-law. A woman of strong convictions in all things, she always knew how to do the right thing in all situations.
Those left to cherish her memory, in addition to her mother, are her husband of 35 years, Thomas William Belcher; two sons, Thomas William Belcher II of Mt. Hope and Jeffrey Michael Belcher of Bolt; two granddaughters, Kelsey Renee Belcher of Beckley and Lillian Rose Belcher of Mt. Hope; one brother, Charles Kelly (Ramona Kay) Poston of Amherstdale; her parents-in-law, Bernie and Doris Spence of Accoville; many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
