John Edward “Eddie” Chapman
Of
John Edward “Eddie” Chapman, 60, of Kistler, departed this life on Friday, October 18, 2019, at his home, after a long illness.
He was born on August 20, 1959, at Logan, the son of the late John Henry and Virginia Florence Dean Chapman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Hattie Fox; two half-sisters, Letha Belle Thompson and Mary Irene Milum; two nieces, Tabitha Fox and Tressie Virginia Fox; and one great-niece, Tressie Mechelle Fox.
Eddie was the owner and operator of Chapman Transmission at Man for over 24 years. He held many certifications in automobile repair. Eddie liked to work on anything electronic as well as automobiles. He loved his family especially his children.
Those left to cherish his memory are one son, John Corey Chapman of Gilbert; one daughter, Kiera Marie Paige Cline of Hanover; two step-sons, Terry Kinder and Billy Shawn Trent, both of Logan; two brothers, Ray (Edna) Chapman of Amherstdale and Joe (Lisa) Chapman of South Man; one sister, Janice (Timmy) Bailey of Accoville; one half-brother, Douglas (Beulah) Chapman of Wayne; the mother of his son, Jessica Trent of Gilbert; and many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at
