Carolyn Sue Adkins, 71, of Mallory went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 8th, 2019, departing from her home surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born January 27th, 1948, at Guyan Valley Hospital in Logan, the daughter of the late Emerson “Ed” and Carrie “Tiny” (Hunt) Adkins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Clarence “Bub” Adkins; and one brother-in-law, James Edward Boothe.

Carolyn was a 1965 graduate of Man High School.  She was a faithful member of the Gilman Bottom Community Tabernacle where she served as their treasurer.  Carolyn worked at Man Clothing Warehouse for over 30 years from which she retired.  Her last years were filled with joy that she found from being with her family.
