Michael Dwayne “Mike” Cresong

of Man, WV

   Michael Dwayne “Mike” Cresong, 55, of Man, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 15, 2019, leaving from CAMC-General Division.

    He was born on March 18, 1964, at Man, the son of Pearl Mae Woolum Cresong of Man with whom he made his home and the late Hubert Lee Cresong.

   In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Gail Cresong; and his brother-in-law, Leo Miller.

   Michael was a 1982 graduate of Man High School.  He loved spending time with his two grandsons, Noah and Deegan.  Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and 4-wheeling.

   Those left to cherish his memory are one daughter, Kayla (Cody) Badgett of Mud Fork; one son, Ryan Ferguson of St. Albans; his mother, Pearl Mae Woolum Cresong of Man with whom he made his home and her good friend, James “Buttons” Henderson of Gilbert; four sisters, Linda (Terry) Caserta of Crown, Charlene (Jimmy) Brumfield of Lorado, Marlene (James) Evans of Davin, and Diana Miller of Man; two brothers, James (Shelia) Jewell of Coal Mountain and Steve Cresong of Man; two grandsons, Noah and Deegan Badgett of Mud Fork; and many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.

   Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2019, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Jay West and Deacon James Evans officiating.  Burial will follow in Woolum Cemetery at Baileysville.

   Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home and one hour prior to services at the funeral home also.

   Pallbearers will be family and friends.

   In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home, 115 Market Street, Man, WV  25635.
