Mickey Ray Caudill, 66, of Man, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 27, 2019, at
He was born December 6, 1952, at Man, a son of the late Ervin and Delores (Elkins) Caudill.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Ervin, Jr., Frankie, and Hubbie Caudill; and one sister, Carol Sue Booth.
Mickey was a coal miner for 15 years before he became disabled. He also did construction work for several years. An avid outdoorsman, Mickey enjoyed fishing, hunting, and 4-wheeling in the mountains with his friends and family. He loved cooking for his family and friends and spending time with his granddaughter, Stevie. On April 12, 2019, Mickey gave his heart to the Lord.
Mickey will long be remembered for his fire cracker personality and his big heart.
Those left to cherish his memory are two sons, Mickey Shawn Caudill of Charleston and Steven Todd (Heather) Caudill of Man; one granddaughter, Stevie Marie Caudill of Man; three sisters, Shirley Ann Grooms of NC, Frances “Sissy” Grimmett of Man, Vickey Cobb and her husband who was a special brother-in-law to Mickey, Rev. Alfred “Butch” Cobb of Man; one brother, Johnny (Cindy) Caudill of Cleveland, OH; and many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man where a funeral service will begin at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Alfred “Butch” Cobb officiating.
In honor of Mickey’s request, after services his remains will be cremated.
