Sammy Joe Canterbury, 59, passed away on February 18th 2019 in
Joe Joe was born on March 22, 1959, in Kistler, a son of the late John and Beulah Canterbury.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Glenda Sue Walls and Saundra Lee Bailey; brothers, John Denny Canterbury and
He worked as a carpenter.
Joe Joe is survived by his son, Sammy Joe Canterbury, and daughter, Stevie Lane Canterbury, both of Ohio; sisters, Elona “Sissy” & husband, Mark Thompson, of NC and Shelia “Lynnie” and husband, Eddie Owens, of WV. He was also survived by two brothers, Carl “Buddy” & wife, Pam Canterbury, of FL and brother Rickey “Rick” Canterbury of NC. Joe Joe is loved and missed by nieces and nephew, friends and family. Gone but never forgotten.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2019, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man
