Connie Harvey Mullins
Of Stowe, WV
Connie Harvey Mullins, 63, departed this life from Charleston on Thursday, April 13, 2017, following a sudden illness. She trusted Christ to be her Savior many years ago and now she is rejoicing with the many loved ones who have gone before her.
She was born on May 12, 1953, in Logan County, a daughter of the late Burwell and Macil McComas Harvey.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her parents-in-law, Sam and Doris Mullins; one nephew, Justin "Bucky" McCoy; one niece, Amanda "Mandi" Workman; and one great-nephew, Tyler Harrison.
Connie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother (Nana) and a faithful friend to so many. She was an animal lover and doted over her dogs, Earnhart and Daisy, many years until their passing. She enjoyed working in her yard and taking care of her many beautiful flowers. Connie had an infectious smile and was such a joy to be around. She was a graduate of Man High School, Class of 1971. She worked many years at Gino's; that is where you have probably seen that beautiful smile.
Those left to cherish her wonderful memory are her loving husband of 42 years, Gary; her daughter, Angela Plumley and her grandson of whom she was very proud, Gary Joseph Plumley; one step-son, Kelly Michael Johnson and his family of Crossville, TN; three sisters, Gayle (Jim) McCoy of Harvest, AL, Vickie Evans of Rockledge, FL, and Dawn (Jerry) Stacy of Lundale; two brothers, Randall (Debbie) Harvey of Oceana and Kevin (Sheila) Harvey of Proctorville, OH; sisters-in-law, Anita Owens of Lundale, Clea Ward of Greenville, TN, and Missy (Mark) McCoy of Amherstdale; brother-in-law, Eddie (Connie) Mullins of Fall Branch, TN; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
It was Connie's wishes to be cremated. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 13, 2017, at the Lundale Freewill Baptist Church at Lundale with Rev. Bobby Adkins officiating.
We extend a special invitation to her family and friends to come and join us as we celebrate this wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be greatly missed by so many.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man.
