Obituary of Sylvia Grimmett Justice

Sylvia Grimmett Justice of Davin, WV Sylvia Grimmett Justice, 84, of Davin, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 7, 2016, leaving from Hubbard Hospice House at South Charleston, after a brief illness. She was born September 4, 1931, at Davin, a daughter of the late Norman B. and Ruth Trimble Grimmett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Thomas L. Justice; and her daughter-in-law, Marsha A. Justice. Sylvia enjoyed traveling, loved the beach, and spending time with her family and friends from Man ARH. She was a very devoted mother and grandmother. When asked her age she always replied, "39 and holding". Those left to cherish her memory are one special brother, John Millard (Janet) Grimmett of Davin; six children, Tommy L. (Elaine) Justice of Murrells Inlet, SC, Norman B. (Sherry) Justice of Davin, Michael L. Justice of Alum Creek, Mary R. (Ed) Nutter of Oceana, and Dorothy A. (Ben) Toler and Jackie D. Justice, both of Davin; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. One special friend Shawn Riggins who Sylvia loved dearly. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at the Campus Church of God at Campus with Rev. Michael Dent, Rev. Roger Stewart, and Rev. Jimmy Frazier officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the church and one hour prior to services at the church also.
