Barbara Joan “Bobbie Jo” Hoosier
Of Lorado, WV
Barbara Joan “Bobbie Jo” Hoosier, 73, of Lorado, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, January 22, 2021, leaving from Logan Regional Medical Center at Logan, after a sudden illness.
She was born on April 25, 1947, at Cartwright Hollow, the daughter of the late Thomas Walker Cochran and Esta Castle Cochran.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Herbert Thomas Hoosier; and one brother, Thomas Keith Cochran.
Bobbie Jo was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was an excellent home maker who took great pride in her home. Bobbie Jo had a love for elderly people and often helped care for them. She enjoyed animals especially her poodle Bucky. Bobbie Jo loved all of her grandchildren and was very involved in raising Darian Hoosier. As her family expanded and the great-grandchildren arrived her love for them knew no bounds.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 57 years, Claude E. Hoosier, Sr.; two children, Michele Hoosier-Endicott of Lorado and Claude Edward “Ed” Hoosier and the love of his life Brandy of Lorado; three grandchildren, Gabrielle and her husband Jordan Endicott of Madison Creek, Janet Perry and her fiancé Zack Donnally of Kenova, and Darian Tate Hoosier of Lorado; one great-grandson, Richter Endicott of Madison Creek; two step-great-granddaughters, Iris and Theia Gwinn of Madison Creek; one sister, Nellie Workman and her husband Jerry of Auburn; and a host of other relatives and friends.
