Thank you Lord for Aunt Lisa being a part of our lives. My heart aches for Matt and family, Patrick and family, Aunt Betty and family. I remember the first time I talked to Lisa on the phone. It was like I was talking to an Angel, her sincere kindest sweet spirit, joy in her voice touched my heart. I couldn’t wait to meet this special lady that God put in our lives. We met late one night in a parking lot I think it was in Logan. It was absolutely wonderful to meet family. The whole family came to meet us at their homes. With open arms and love, it was Gods gift to us. God truly blessed us with an amazing loving family. On one of the trips we made to West Virginia, Lisa ask me would you like to stop my Big Lots? I had never been to a big lots. I’m walking down in aisle in a man stops me and says did you know they changed the white gravy to brown gravy at Shoneys? I looked around thought he may be talking to someone else. He was talking to me. I told him no I didn’t know this and thanked him for sharing this news. I couldn’t wait to tell Lisa what this man said. She told me Diane, this is big news in our area and had the biggest smile on her face. It was so sweet and sincere. It touched my heart, I knew God put me in this store for me to to hear this adorable short story. One time Lisa and Patrick came to visit us in San Diego. We got to take them to the base to watch a Carrier pull in. My son Hal was aboard this ship, he had been deployed 6+ months. We waited several hours for over 3,000 men and women to come off. It’s like finding a needle in a hack stack with all the families on the pier. Lisa & Patrick waited patiently with smiles on their faces. It meant the world to us them coming all the way from WV to San Diego to visit us. We’ve been back to WV a few times, oh how I wished it was more times.Thank you, Lisa for touching my life the way you have. I’m sending Air Hugs to the family. I love and miss you all. I know y’all are hurting. I’m asking God to wrap his loving arms around you. I’m praying for you!

Lisa comes to mind when I think of those carefree days of childhood. My family would visit my Uncle John, Aunt Betty, all the cousins when they lived in Columbus and in Milton. It was always specials when Lisa would visit while we were there. She was a beacon of light, smiling and her voice sweet as the angels she is now surrounded by.
Peace, love and strength to her family and friends.

I went all through school with Lisa starting with first grade at Buffalo Grade School. I left West Virginia many years ago. I connected with her again when my husband was going through chemotherapy and we were traveling and staying in hotels during his treatments and had a gofundme account for help. Lisa wrote to me and asked if I remembered her. She wanted to donate to help us. I know she was a widow and probably not wealthy yet she reached out to me to help in that terrible time. I know Lisa is resting in the arms of JESUS. She is missed down here. Many prayers for her family and close friends.

Lisa was like a sister to us. I have so many fond memories of visiting over the summers and holidays. There is a void now that will never be filled. Lisa loved her sons and family more than anything in this world. As we mourn her loss, she is celebrating in Heaven with our family members. It's heartbreaking for all of us. The loss of a mother is hard to bear. We lift up Mathew, Amber and the children and Patrick and Tristan with our prayers. We love you all.

Lisa loved her boys more than anything else in her life. She loved both her daughter in law’s like they were her own daughters. She was so ecstatic to be a momaw to Asher and Maycee. She was so happy to be able to take care of them. She was happier than I have seen her in years. I’ve lost my lifelong best friend. I just can’t believe that she’s gone. We had thousands of hours on the phone between West Virginia and Florida. The last time I talked to her was the night before Thanksgiving. She’d prepared food to take to dinner the next day at Amber’s mom’s house. She was so upbeat and happy. She had pulled out her Christmas decorations and was going to put up a Christmas tree for the first time in 8 years. I hung up that night with a smile. It touched my heart to hear her so happy. I wish she knew how many people loved her. I’ve read so many heart touching posts of love and admiration. There will never be another Lisa.

Heartfelt condolences for Matthew, Patrick and the loving family Lisa's sudden passing leaves behind. I've known Lisa, as most people around here, for many years and Patrick used to hang out at our house when he and my Matthew were in school together, so please believe me when I say I am so very sorry for the loss of your mother. May God Bless you and give you strength in the days ahead.

Heaven couldn't get any nicer or caring person as Lisa. She has a loving family that will miss her so much. I will miss our late night and into the early morning texting. We had many good times & funny situations that we kept to ourselves. God blessed me with a very dear sister in law. Will have you on my mind & always in my heart. So thankful to have had you in my life. Love you!
