Gabriel Caleb “Gabe” Johnson
Of Man, WV
Gabriel Caleb “Gabe” Johnson, the precious son of Victor Steven and Crystal Lynn (Longo) Johnson of Man, went home in the arms of an angel to be with Jesus on November 24, 2020.
He was born in Logan on June 23, 2017. Gabriel was a vibrant child with a smile that was brighter than the sun. He had a passion for food and Mickey Mouse. Gabe was a people person and he never met a stranger. Gabriel was cuddled, loved, and showered with many hugs and kisses and will always be held in our hearts. His beautiful soul will be missed by many and the world is surely going to be dimmer without him running around.
Gabriel “Gabe” was preceded in death by his great-grandfathers, Donnie Ellis, Vincent Longo, and Kenard Johnson; his uncle, Kenny Toler; and cousin, Ray Ray Sanders.
Those left to cherish his memory and mourn his loss are his parents, Victor and Crystal Lynn (Longo) Johnson; one brother, Victor Steven “Tre” Johnson III at home; his maternal grandparents, Robert Allen Longo Sr. and Debra Longo of CT; his paternal grandparents, Victor Steven Johnson of Moosup, CT and Linda Johnson of Landville; maternal aunts and uncles, Candise Rafuese and her husband Jessie and their three children, Robert Longo Jr. and his wife Sarah and their two children, and Aaron Longo and his wife Haley; paternal uncle and aunt, Justin “JJ” Johnson and Nikita Johnson; and great-grandparents, Joan Carroll and her husband Richard Cartwright of RI, Barbara Brown Campbell of SC, Doris Longo of CT, and Janice Ellis of Landville; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, November 29, 2020, at the Landville Freewill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church also.
