Margaret Ann Ferrell
Of Lyburn, WV
Margaret Ann Ferrell, 81, of Lyburn, went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 3, 2020, leaving from Pikeville Nursing and Rehab at Pikeville, KY, after an extended illness.
She was born on October 31, 1939, at Earling, the daughter of the late Linsford and Mary Ann Ellison Walls.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald “Dopey” Ferrell; one daughter, Tammy Diane Ferrell Copley; one son, Bradley Kevin Ferrell; one grand-daughter, Brandi; and her siblings, Harlan Walls, Jessie Walls, Roger Walls, Marie Russell, Georgia Burgess, Virginia Hill, and Bonnie Depta.
Margaret was a home maker and a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Margaret was a member of Taplin Freewill Baptist Church.
Those left to cherish her memory are one son, Scott Ferrell of Lyburn; grandchildren, Justin Tyler Ferrell and his wife Audra, Kaitlyn Craddock Jones and her husband Tracy, Brittany Ferrell and Ashley Copley; and many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, October 8, 2020, at Highland Memory Gardens at Godby with Brother Sheldon Wells officiating.
Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
Pallbearers will be friends and relatives.
