Deborah Ann “Debbie” Mays
Of Lundale, WV
Deborah Ann “Debbie” Mays, 66, of Lundale, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 16, 2020, leaving from Logan Regional Medical Center after a sudden illness.
She was born on November 8, 1953, at Logan, the daughter of the late William Lee and Lottie Mae Webb Jarrell.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant son, Kenneth Lee Mays; two sisters, Cheryl Foxx and Peggy Moore; her parents-in-law, Leroy and Evelyn “Bea” Mays; and her brothers-in-law, Gary Mays and Ronnie Hoosier.
Debbie enjoyed reading, listening to music, 4-wheeling, painting, and flower gardening. She loved animals especially Abby and MoJo. Devoted to her family, Debbie loved spending time on the front porch with family and friends. Debbie took membership in Lundale Freewill Baptist Church in 1977.
Those left to cherish her memory are the love of her life her husband, Bill Mays; one son, Kevin (Becky) Mays of Mallory and one daughter, Jennifer (Pat) White of Lundale; one grand-daughter, Kaitlyn Mays and her fiancé T.J. Elkins of Mallory; and one grandson, Danny White of Lundale; three sisters, Carol Hoosier of Robinette, Vickie Graham of Crown, and Ada Lowe of Accoville; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who loved Debbie dearly along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man and one hour prior to services on Thursday at the funeral home also.
Funeral services will begin at 12 noon on Thursday, August 20, 2020, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Lafferty assisted by Brother Terry Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
