Alice Faye Copley Of Crown, WV Alice Faye Copley, 80, of Crown, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 14, 2020, leaving from Logan Regional Medical Center, after a long illness. She was born on March 6, 1940, at Hunt, the daughter of the late Leonard and Mary Ledna (Thomas) Ellis In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Blaine Copley, Sr.; one son, Blaine “Bub” Copley II; two sisters, Nancy Frye and Donna Bartram; two brothers, Roger Lee Ellis and Otis Ellis, Jr.; and two nephews, Roger Ellis and Clydie Bartram. Alice was a home maker and was a Christian for over 25 years. She loved to sit on the porch swing and talk to everyone she saw. Alice enjoyed talking about the old times and telling stories of times gone by. When she was able, she loved to take care of animals. In her later years she resided for three years with her baby brother Eddie where she enjoyed taking care of him. Her sister Anna Mae and Eddie’s wife Summer were especially willing to do whatever Alice needed. Her brother Leon visited faithfully every Wednesday and Sunday. Her niece Donna “Tiny” Bartram was a great help to Alice during her last illness never leaving her at the hospital alone and showering her with love and care. Those left to cherish her memory are one daughter, Lisa Belcher of Crown; two granddaughters, Beck (Kenny) Osborne of Lorado and Shanna Copley of Crown;four great grandchildren Coalton and Laci Osbourne, Tye Ransom Belcher, and Daxton Benjamin Evans; one sister, Anna Mae (Rev. Allen) Sprouse of Accoville; two brothers, Leon Ellis of Madison and Eddie (Summer) Ellis of Riley Camp; and many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Lundale Freewill Baptist Church at Lundale. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Lundale Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Allen Sprouse and Pastor Bobby Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby. Pallbearers will be Eddie Browning and all of the nephews from the Copley and Ellis sides of the family.
