Obituary of Martha Sue Gibson

 

Martha Sue Gibson

Of Kistler, WV

   Martha Sue Gibson, 67, of Kistler, departed this life on Monday, November 4, 2019, at Logan Regional Medical Center at Logan, after a long illness.

   She was born on December 25, 1951, at Logan, the daughter of the late Marion and Stella (Moran) Gibson.

   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Ralph Bragg, Jr.; one sister, Betty Gibson Gollihue; and one brother, Jessie Gibson.

   Martha was a disabled certified nursing assistant.  Martha loved to cook and send food to her family and friends. She was an avid Hallmark channel fan.  Martha also liked word puzzles and adult coloring books.    

   Those left to cherish her memory are four sisters, Bertha Allen of Kistler, Mary Graham of Combs Addition, Susie Stinnett of Oceana, and Hazel Goodman of Cyclone; three brothers, Charles (Sharon) Moran of Maineville, OH, Ellis (Connie) Gibson of Kistler, and Roger (Velma Jean) Gibson of Lorado; and many many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.

   Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 6, 2019, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. James Ellis and Brother David Mullins officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.

   Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.

   Pall bearers will be family and friends.
