Virginia “Jenny Bell” Wooten

 of Robinette, WV

Virginia “Jenny Bell” Wooten, 61, of Robinette went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, October 8, 2019, leaving from Pikeville Medical Center, with her daughter and granddaughter by her side, following a short illness.

She was born on January 14, 1958, the daughter of the late Katie Ward and Seibert Browning, Sr.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Raymond Wooten, Sr.; her brothers, Seibert Browning, Jr. and Jerry Browning; and her sisters, Gwendolyn Browning and Judy Rakes.

Virginia was a homemaker who loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her cherished grandchildren that she adored.  Virginia enjoyed playing Candy Crush, watching Golden Girls, Everybody Loves Raymond, and Heat of the Night.   Jenny Bell will be remembered for her one of a kind laugh that was infectious.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Nevada Davis of Logan, Jonathan Davis of Charleston, Sammie (Dolly) Lusk of Lorado, and Crystal (Clyde) Compton of Amherstdale; sister, Linda Spears of Robinette; brother, Joseph Browning of Robinette; step-children, Raymond Wooten of Robinette, Kenneth Wooten, and April Taylor of SC; three grandchildren with whom she loved to spend time and were the light of her life, Jessica Davis of Robinette, Virginia Davis of Morgantown, and Victoria Compton of Amherstdale; other grandchildren include, Zachary and Alex Lusk and Jonathan, Zachary, and Hannah Davis, all of Logan; several step-grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family would like to extend our appreciation and thanks to Logan Regional Medical Center and Pikeville Medical Center’s CCU Staff, LEASA, Buffalo Creek VFD, Kindred Home Health, and her favorite physician, Chris Tipton for their dedication and care during Virginia’s illness.

Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Sunday at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man and one hour prior to services at the funeral home also.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, October 14, 2019, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home with Rev. P.J. Tomblin officiating.  Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.

Pallbearers will be Michael and Austin Compton, Ira Lusk, J.J. Daniels, Brian West, and Ricky Matthews.
