My sincere condolences to the entire Bodnar family. Steve Bodnar was one of the good ones. A great friend to all and a wonderful father to his family. From good natured water gun battles in the back of Crozier's Drug store to giving me rides to and from basketball practice along with his own boys, he always treated me with friendship and respect. I will always be grateful that he crossed my path as a young man.

I met Mr. Bodnar when Mrs. Bodnar was my basketball coach in high school. The last time I saw him was was a while ago. After I told him my name he knew who I was and we talked a while. He was always smiling and always so friendly. I know he will be missed greatly by his family and friends. Prayers for peace and comfort for the family.

Steve was always one of the GOOD GUYS who looked after others, particular[y his brother Bob and me. He was a year older than Bob and 2 years older than me so when something happened he was our protector.
I was also a mechanic and swapped parts with Steve and his Dad. My Dad's garage was in downtown Man and Steve's was just on the edge of town. When my Dad needed parts he sent me to Bodnar's and when Steve needed parts Steve Jr. was went to my Dad's garage.
We lived through WWII, collected scrap iron for defense, bought stamps for war bonds and grew up in turbulent times.
As I said in the beginning Steve, Jr. was ALWAYS one of the Good Guys. Thank God for him.
