Frances Marie Duncan

Frances Marie “Fran”
She was born on November 26, 1936, at Amherstdale, the daughter of the late Rev. Everett and Zida Bailey Wingler.
In addition to her parents, she was greeted at Heaven’s gate by her husband, James Robert Duncan; one son, James Robert “Robin” Duncan; four sisters, Madyline McCoy, LouAnna Workman, Mildred Perry, and Ruby Morris; three brothers, Ralph Wingler, Billy Wingler, and Fred Wingler.
Fran was a home maker and a Christian. A talented singer, Fran sang with the Crown Jubileers and in her later years she and her husband James sang as a duet at many area churches, weddings, and funerals. She loved to fish and spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Those left to cherish her memory are one son, Keith (Patty) Duncan of Accoville; six grandchildren, Jamie (Desi) Duncan, Melanie Duncan, Savannah (Ben) Ellis, Brandon (Taylor) Duncan, Keeley Duncan, and Michael Walden; great-grandchildren, Chandler Duncan and Victoria “Tori” Duncan, Luke and Autumn Ellis, Bo Hunter Duncan, Alex Ables, Aiden Savage, and Ayce Chafin; one sister, Loraine (Red) Elkins of GA; one brother, Bobby Wingler of OH; and many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank her caregivers; Juanita Wallace, Sabrina Looney, Tabitha Gibson, and Candy Shell for the love and compassion they showed while caring for Fran.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man and one hour prior to services at the funeral home also.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 20, 2019 at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Vance officiating. Burial will follow in
Pall bearers will be Brandon Duncan, Ben Ellis, Jamie Duncan, Chandler Duncan, Ricky, Teddy, and Cam Workman.
Honorary pall bearers will be Tony Elkins, Mike Wingler, Richard Elkins, and Ross Workman.
