Rick Browning, 66, of
He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford “Pistol Pete” Browning, his mother and step-father, Betty and Harley Hatfield; a special sister-in-law that he thought of as a sister, Leasa Ann Workman.
Rick was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend. His favorite thing to do besides watching football was spending time with his family and friends.
Those left to cherish his memory are the love of his life, his wife of 39 ½ years, Tammy Lynn Browning; one son, Rickey (Misty) Browning Jr. of Cyclone; two daughters, Michelle (Barry) Beaver and Chasity (Rickey) Hicks, all of Matheny; eight grandchildren, Mason and Piper Browning of Cyclone, Tyler and Dakota Beaver, and Alyssa, Madison, McKenzie, and Tenli Hicks, all of Matheny; one brother, Tater (Diny) Hatfield of Coal Mountain; one sister, Robin (Beavis) Scearce of Martinsville; his parents-in-law, Clifford and Janet Browning of Greenville; two sisters-in-law, Mary Maynard of Greenville and Kim (Mike Trent) Browning of Mason County; two brothers-in-law, Cliffy (Kristy) Browning of Greenville and Roger Workman of Christian; a special friend, Brandon (Kelly) Conley and their sons, Benji and Joseph, of Chapmanville; and many nieces and nephew along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will began at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at the Hunt Freewill Baptist Tabernacle with Rev. Donald Ellis and Deacon Danny Browning officiating. He will be lovingly laid to rest following services at
